What We Collect

When you visit our website, fill out a form, or call us, we may collect:

  • Appliance make, model, and the problem you’re having
  • IP address and basic browser info (automatically collected by our website and Google Analytics)

We do not collect payment information ourselves. All billing is handled in-person by the technician (cash, check, card via Square, etc.).

How We Collect It
  • Directly from you when you fill out a contact or booking form
  • When you call our local Lexington number or any call-tracking numbers

Why We Collect It (Legal Bases)
  • To schedule and perform the repair you requested (this is necessary to fulfill a contract with you)
  • To follow up and make sure you’re happy with the work

  • To comply with Kentucky and federal laws (e.g., TCPA consent records when we call or text you back)
Who We Share It With
  • Our technicians (they need your address and phone number to show up)
  • Licensed, bonded third-party appliance repair companies or independent contractors who actually perform the repair when we’re fully booked (we only share what’s needed to get your appliance fixed)
  • Call-tracking and scheduling tools (Ringba, CallRail-type platforms, Google Analytics, basic hosting providers)
  • Law enforcement if legally required
  • We never sell your personal information to anyone. Period.
Call Recording & Tracking

Our phone lines may record calls for quality, training, and dispute resolution. We’ll usually let you know at the beginning of the call (“This call may be recorded”). By continuing the call, you consent to recording under Kentucky’s one-party consent law.

Cookies & Tracking

We use basic Google Analytics cookies to see how visitors use the site. You can opt out any time by turning on “Do Not Track” in your browser or using an ad blocker.

How Long We Keep Your Information
  • Service requests and customer records: 7 years (standard accounting and warranty requirements)
  • Call recordings: up to 90 days unless needed longer for a dispute
  • Website analytics: anonymized after 26 months by Google
  • After that, everything is securely deleted.
Your Rights ( CCPA / U.S. Privacy Rights )

Even though Kentucky doesn’t have a full CCPA-style law yet, we still give you the same rights:

  • Ask what information we have about you
  • Ask us to delete it (we’ll do it unless we’re required by law to keep it)
  • Opt out of any future marketing texts or calls
  • Say no to call recording (just let us know)
  • Just email or call us—details at the bottom.
Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from kids.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure hosting, and limit access to your data to only the people who actually need it to fix your appliance or run the business.

Changes to This Policy

If we make big changes, we’ll update the date at the top and post the new version here.
